Smithsonian Outbreak Tour
Friday, November 15 at 4:00 PM

Outbreak: Epidemics in a Connected World is 4,000-square-foot exhibition located at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History designed to educate families, students, the public, and key stakeholders about zoonotic viruses, how they spread, and how to prevent them. To provide a deeper connection to the exhibition content, the museum facilitates onsite discussions in the gallery. Outbreak also disseminates the content in a Do-It-Yourself (DIY) format that allows external venues to tailor exhibition materials to suit their unique needs and create their own vital conversations within their communities.

Join NFID and Smithsonian experts on Friday, November 15 at 4:00 PM for a special tour of the exhibition limited to attendees of the Clinical Vaccinology Course only. Participants will get a behind the scenes glimpse at how the exhibit helps raise public awareness for millions about this complex subject matter and the role that museums can play a role in addressing critical issues such as outbreaks. There is no additional fee to attend. Space is limited to the first 30 registrants.
